I started my online travel business two years ago in September 2014 with tours of Bucharest. The feedback from my guests was very good and soon I started to receive requests for day tours and longer tours outside Bucharest. The business grew steady and organically from shorter city tours to two weeks long tours around Romania.
On the website you can find a range of itineraries from day trips from Bucharest to long tours. All the itineraries were previously tested by me so I can knowingly guarantee an authentic experience for my guests. The itineraries take you through the famous landmarks and cities and also off the beaten path to traditional villages and lesser known sites. Because I run a private tours company, the itineraries are not fix, but highly adaptable according to my guests’ requests.
My focus is to ensure that I deliver a round experience: good and safe transportation, central boutique accommodation in cities and traditional- chic guesthouses in the countryside, traditional slow cooked meals, good quality guiding which combines history with urban culture, funny stories and legends. All of my tours are designed to not rush through landmarks, ticking them off a list but to actually enjoy Romania and to discover it as a traditional, wild and fun country to spend your vacation.
Roaring Romania has also a blog written by me or by my collaborators. The focus of the blog is to write about both the major landmarks but also to bring light on the hidden gems of the country. The information given on the blog is accurate, honest and up to date. For the readers that have questions about travelling to Romania, there is a Facebook group, Roaring Romania, where you can have your questions answered.
